Milton Bankston has a statewide reputation in commercial and complex litigation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and an Advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates. He devotes one-hundred percent of his practice to litigation.

Mr. Bankston has successfully tried a variety of jury cases, including actions for breach of contract, condemnation, breach of fiduciary duty, business fraud, and partnership dissolution. He continues to handle high profile and complex litigation in family law and divorce matters. Mr. Bankston began practicing trial law in Midland, Texas with the law firm of Stubbeman, McRae, Sealy, Laughlin & Browder. He represented national companies in commercial litigation, oil and gas, real estate, condemnation, and title disputes. Mr. Bankston relocated and opened his Midland firm's law office in Austin, Texas, and became a senior partner of Bankston, Wright & Greenhill, P.C. before joining with Jim Richardson in 1992 to form Bankston & Richardson, L.L.P. His practice continues to include the prosecution and defense of a wide variety of complex litigation.

Mr. Bankston graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Fraternity. Mr. Bankston is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and member of the State Bar of Texas and Austin Bar Association. He is a long-standing member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Bankston speaks periodically on trial tactics at continuing legal education programs.
