Sam McDaniel has thirty years experience in successfully handling complex commercial litigation, including condemnation and real estate disputes. His practice has entailed real estate and land development controversies, direct and inverse condemnation, business fraud and commercial disputes, land titles, and probate litigation.

He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. McDaniel handled the boundary dispute between Texas and Louisiana at the western half of the Sabine River, reapportionment of the Texas Legislature and Texas Congressional Districts, litigation over the North Expressway in San Antonio, Texas, and numerous other high profile real estate disputes. He also serves clients in the hard mineral mining industry.

Mr. McDaniel is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration. He has been a featured speaker on the topic of eminent domain, including seminars of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. Mr. McDaniel is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas, the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Claims Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Federal Circuits. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas Law School.
